Morning Star Traders

It's pretty busy around here near Jakhariya Masjid. We've been at Shop No 31 for a while now. Morning Star Traders is just a regular place where we handle our daily business. If you know Masjid Bunder West, you know how the streets get crowded with people moving goods back and forth all day. We open up early, get the shutters up, and start sorting through what needs to be done. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a bit of paint, and the desk is cluttered with old ledgers and pens that sometimes work and sometimes don't. We just deal with our customers as they come in. Some are regulars who have been coming to Sheriff Devji Street for years, others just stumble in because they’re in the area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just waiting for deliveries to arrive. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We keep things simple here. There's no big team or anything, just a few of us making sure things move along. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It helps when the day gets long. We don't really do much online stuff, we prefer just talking to people face to face. It feels more real that way. That’s pretty much us.
