Mookambika Traders

Mookambika Traders is located right on Samuel Street in Vadgadi. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving. We are in Devkaran Niwas, which is number 283 on the street. Our specific spot is unit 14. The building has been there a long time and has that old city feel to it. Working in Vadgadi means there is always a lot of loading and unloading happening right outside our door. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s where all the trading happens, so it’s the right spot for us. Our office inside is pretty simple. We have our desks, our ledgers, and plenty of tea for when people drop by. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now, just moving goods and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the streets are so packed it’s hard to even walk, but that’s just part of the daily life here. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices or anything like that. Just a solid place in an old building where we can do our business. Most of the people around here are regulars, so we all know each other. It feels more like a community than just a marketplace. We keep things pretty basic. No need for anything extra. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping the stock moving through the shop. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and do the trade.
