Moneytalk Advisory Pvt Ltd is based out of Room Number 06 in Krishna Kunj Chawl, which is part of the Sambhaji Chawl area on New Mill Road in Kurla West. If you know Mumbai, you know Kurla is always buzzing. Our office is small, just like most places in a chawl, but we make the most of the space we have. We do advisory work, so there’s always a lot of talk and a lot of note-taking. It’s a very grounded environment. We aren't sitting in some air-conditioned tower in South Mumbai; we’re right here with everyone else. We have a couple of desks squeezed in and enough room for a few people to sit and chat. The rain can be pretty loud on the roof during the monsoon, but we keep the documents dry and the work moving. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on their money. We don’t put on any acts here. We’re just regular people trying to help other regular people figure out their finances. It’s a busy life on New Mill Road, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. We keep our records in order and try to stay on top of all the new rules and regulations that come out from the government.
