Mirrors Silks Embroidery is tucked away in Shop No A 305 at Silver Beach in Juhu. If you know Juhu, you know it can be a bit chaotic with the beach crowds and the traffic. Our shop is full of threads, pieces of silk, and half-finished embroidery work. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, honestly. There’s always dust from the fabrics floating in the air. We’ve been here at Silver Beach Ap for a while. People come in looking for specific patterns or just to see what we have on the racks. It’s not a huge space, so we have to stack things high. You can hear the sounds from the street all day. We do a lot of manual work here. It’s hard on the eyes after a few hours, but we’re used to it. The lighting isn't always perfect, but we make do. Sometimes we have tea while sitting on the stools surrounded by boxes of beads. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the machines. Some days are busier than others, especially before wedding seasons. We just try to get the stitching right. Juhu is a nice place to be, even if the rent is a bit much. We’ve lived and worked around here long enough that the shop feels like a second home. It’s dusty, it’s busy, and it’s where we spend most of our lives. We often find ourselves still working when the sun goes down.
