Mirabhayander Municipal Corporation

We are based out of Walchand Plaza, specifically in B 208 over in Geeta Nagar. Being in Bhayandar West, we see a lot of what goes on in the local community every day. This office is where a lot of the paperwork happens for the municipal corporation. It can get pretty crowded in the hallways, especially on Monday mornings when everyone has something they need to get sorted out. The plaza itself is a well-known landmark around here, so most locals know exactly where to find us. We deal with the usual city stuff, trying to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s not always easy with so many people living in the 401 101 zip code area. We have desks piled with files and the phones ring quite a bit. It’s a public office, so it feels like a public office—functional and busy. The staff here lives mostly in the surrounding neighborhoods, so we are all part of the same town. We just come in, do the filing, talk to the residents, and try to handle the local issues as they come up. There’s always something that needs fixing or a permit that needs signing. We just stay at it until the day is done. It’s honest work for the people living around Geeta Nagar. Some days are long, but that is just part of the job we have here in the plaza.
