Minipack

Minipack is set up at Plot No 10 in the Mira Co-operative Industrial Estate. We’re just off the Western Express Highway on Mira Road East, which makes it easy for the trucks to get to us, even if the highway traffic is a nightmare most of the time. Our building is a practical space where we put together packaging machines. It’s mostly a workshop floor with a lot of steel and wiring around. We aren't big on appearances here; we care more about whether a machine is running smoothly or not. The air is usually filled with the sound of testing—lots of clicking and whirring as the packaging cycles run. We’ve got a small group of workers who have been with us since we moved to this plot. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the technical side of things. Mira Road has grown a lot since we first arrived, and the industrial estate is always humming with activity. We don't have any polished speeches or big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the machines we build do what they are supposed to do for the people who buy them. Some days are long, especially when we’re trying to figure out a mechanical glitch, but we like the challenge. It’s a dusty, busy, and honest place to work, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep working until the last crate is loaded.
