We are based right near Alankar Cinema 1. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around movie times. Mindwork Technologies has been operating from this spot for some time. It’s a convenient location for us. We do a lot of technical work, mostly focused on software and digital stuff. The office is pretty basic. We have a couple of computers and a lot of notebooks filled with ideas. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and see us working. We started this because we liked solving problems. It turns out there are a lot of problems to solve in this industry. Every day is a bit different. One day we are stuck on a single line of code, and the next we are talking to a client about their new project. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound more important than we are. We are just local workers doing our bit. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. It’s a good place to clear your head. The noise from the cinema crowd is just part of the background now. We don't even notice it. Our space is filled with old hardware and stacks of papers, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we like it. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand.
