Being in Mumbai, and especially in Andheri 400058, means things are always moving fast. Our office is a small part of that. It is a modest space where we handle consulting work for all sorts of people. The building is a typical co-operative housing society setup, so it feels very grounded. We have some desks, a few old chairs, and piles of folders that we really should organize better. We spend our days talking on the phone and meeting people who drop by. It’s not a high-pressure environment inside our doors, even if the traffic outside is a nightmare. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by. We are a small team and we’ve known each other for years. There isn't any management jargon used here. We just talk like regular people and try to solve whatever problems come our way. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute difficult, and we might open a bit late, but we always make sure the work gets done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense office. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a decent service to those who need it in our little corner of Mumbai. That is really all there is to it.
