Mile Stone

Our place, Mile Stone, is situated in the Matrukripa Society within the Pandit Soci area of Malad East. We are quite close to the Hira Masjid in Dongri, which is a big part of the local community here. The neighborhood is a mix of homes and small businesses, so there’s always something going on, whether it’s kids playing in the lane or people heading to the mosque for prayers. The shop itself is part of the society building, so it feels very much like a local neighborhood spot rather than a big commercial store. We’ve been here for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the work we do inside. Every day is pretty much the same—we arrive, say hello to the neighbors, and start sorting through our tasks. The space isn't huge, but it's enough for us to get things done. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big website; we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. Sometimes the traffic in Dongri gets so bad that it takes forever to get anywhere, so we mostly stay put and focus on our business. It’s a simple, practical way to run things, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down, work hard, and try to be a helpful part of the Malad East community. We mostly just keep things moving along.
