Microsystem

Our little spot is called Microsystem. We are tucked away in Shivdarshan Apartment, specifically in Room 311 of the C-3 Wing. It’s right on Filmcity Road in Goregaon East, Mumbai. Finding the right wing can be a bit of a puzzle the first time you visit, but you get used to it. The building has been here for a long time, and so have we. The office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a place where we sit and work on whatever comes our way. We have a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of cables everywhere. Mumbai heat can be quite something in the afternoons, but we have our fans running. The street outside is always buzzing because of the nearby film studios. Sometimes you see a lot of activity on the road, which makes for good people-watching during breaks. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, it's just one of us looking up from a screen when the door opens. We drink plenty of tea throughout the day to keep us going. Most of our neighbors are also small businesses or families. It’s a very grounded place to be. We just try to get through our daily tasks without too much fuss. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, in this busy part of the city. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to do a decent job.
