Micro Technologies India Ltd. is situated within Futech Park over in the MIDC area of Mahape. If you know this part of Navi Mumbai, you know it’s a big industrial and tech zone. The building is pretty standard for the area, and we’ve been here for a while now. Our floor is usually a hive of activity with people coming and going. It’s not the most glamorous place, just a lot of cubicles and whiteboards covered in notes and scribbles. We have a lot of equipment around because of the nature of the work, so space can get a bit cramped sometimes. The air conditioning is usually cranked up high to keep the machines cool, which means we often wear sweaters even when it’s hot outside. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations. Most of what's on the walls is just functional stuff like schedules or maps. Lunch usually happens at the local canteens nearby or people bring stuff from home. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on the daily grind. We’ve got a mix of experienced people and some newer faces, but we all just get on with it. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here for some, but once you’re in the office, it’s just about getting the work done. It’s a noisy, busy, and honest place to work. We spend a lot of time here together.
