Mewar Export Trading Co. is located at 25 M N Koli Marg. We are right near the Masjid Post Office, which is a very busy part of the city. The area is always crowded with people moving goods and carts rattling over the pavement. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. We’ve been trading from here for quite some time. It’s the kind of place where you can smell the salt from the nearby sea and the exhaust from the trucks. We deal with exports, which means a lot of paperwork and a lot of waiting for ships and containers. It can be frustrating when things get delayed, but we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't corporate types in suits. We usually have our sleeves rolled up and a phone pressed to our ear. The post office nearby is a landmark everyone knows, so it’s easy for people to find us. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a few desks, some old fans, and a lot of ledgers. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and it works for us. We know our way around the docks and the markets. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep the business moving forward without any unnecessary complications or fancy talk.
