If you know the Kurla area, you probably know how crowded L. B. Shastri Marg gets. Our place, Metrex Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in Sunder Estate, right near Kamani. It is an old industrial spot, and we have been operating out of here for a good bit of time. The building is not new, but it works for what we do. We handle a lot of the day-to-day manufacturing and distribution from this site. It can get pretty noisy with the traffic and the other businesses nearby, but you get used to it. We have a small crew that has been with us for years. They know the routine inside and out. Usually, mornings are for unloading and checking what came in the night before. By the afternoon, we are mostly focused on getting things out the door. We do not have a big reception area or shiny signs. Most people just walk straight back to the office or the loading dock. It is a practical setup. We deal with various industrial parts and materials. Working in Kurla means we are close to a lot of our suppliers, which makes things easier when we run out of something. It is just a normal workplace where everyone knows their job and tries to do it without making a mess of things. We try to keep the paperwork moving so nothing gets stuck. It is not a glamorous business, but it is what we know.
