We are Mechelonic Welders Pvt. Ltd., located at number 18 in the Govt Industrial Estate in Charkop. Kandivali West is where we've spent most of our working lives. The estate is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the roads, but we’ve been here long enough that we know every corner and shortcut. Our main focus is on welding equipment and machinery. The shop floor is always full of metal parts and the smell of sparks. It’s a gritty job, but someone has to do it. We have a crew that’s been together for a long time, so we work well without having to say much to each other. It’s not a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. We have concrete floors and sturdy workbenches that have seen better days. Things get used and they look like they’ve been used, which is fine by us. We deal with a lot of heavy machinery every day. Sometimes the logistics of moving stuff in and out of Charkop can be a real headache with the traffic, but we manage somehow. We aren't big on marketing or fancy brochures. We just talk to our customers plainly and tell them what we can do. Most of our day is spent making sure the welds are solid and the machines are running as they should. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in the industrial estate, and that suits us just fine.
