Mascot Engineers

Mascot Engineers is located at Charni Road 2. It’s a part of town that’s always moving. Our office is tucked away in an older building that has seen better days, but it serves its purpose well enough. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and engine oil sometimes, depending on what we brought back from a site visit. We have a lot of tools and manuals lying around on the workbenches. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for many years. We don't really have a front desk, just a counter where people leave stuff for us. Most of our work happens out in the field, but this is where we come to write up the reports. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on high, but it keeps us cool enough during the summer months. We don’t really bother with formalities here; everyone just goes by their first name. We’ve got a small fridge that mostly holds water and the occasional sandwich. Life here is simple. We get a call, we look at the problem, and we try to find a way to fix it. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know. The train station is close by, so you can always hear the announcements if the windows are open. It’s a noisy, busy place, but it’s ours and we like the location. We just get on with it.
