Marudhar Tyres

At Marudhar Tyres, we are based out in Ghatkopar West. Our head office is at 41277 on Dr S S Rao Road. This area is always thick with vehicles, which I guess is good for a tyre business. We deal with rubber and wheels all day long. It’s a messy job; your hands are almost always black with soot and grime by lunch. We have tyres stacked up in every corner of our space. Some are for small cars, others are much bigger. We don't really do the whole "customer lounge" thing with coffee and magazines. People come here because they have a problem with their wheels, and we look at it. We talk about what’s worn out and what needs replacing. Dr S S Rao Road is a busy stretch, and we see all kinds of drivers passing through. Some are locals, some are just passing through Ghatkopar. We’ve been here for a long time, so we’ve seen the types of tyres change as newer cars come onto the market. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just know tyres. If someone comes in with a puncture or needs a new set, we handle it and get them back on the road. It’s a practical, everyday kind of business. We don't overthink it. We just provide what’s needed and keep things rolling as best as we can every single day.
