Manorama Textiles Pvt Ltd is located in Andheri East at Gala No 114 in Building No 3 B. If you have ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how busy it gets. Our space is tucked away in the industrial estate where there is always someone loading or unloading a truck nearby. Inside, it is mostly rolls of fabric and the sound of people talking over the noise of the fans. The lighting isn't the greatest, but we have been here for years and we know where everything is kept even in the dark. We have a small crew that handles the orders. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. The desks are old and the chairs creak, but they do the job. It gets quite hot in the summer months, so we usually have a couple of big pedestal fans going all day. Clients drop by to check on their orders and we usually have a bit of a chat over some water or chai. It is not a flashy showroom or anything like that. It is a working gala where we get our hands dirty and make sure the bundles are packed correctly. We just try to keep up with the pace of Andheri and get the deliveries out on time every single week without too much fuss.
