Manoj Rikame

I’m located in Tardeo, specifically in the M P Mills Compound area. My place is in Shiv Darshan B 11, up on the seventh floor, block 706. It’s one of those busy Mumbai spots where there’s always something happening downstairs in the courtyard. I’ve been working from here for a good bit of time now. Tardeo is central, so it makes getting around the city a bit easier for me, though the traffic near the compound can be a real headache in the evenings. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where the work gets done. I spend most of my day at the desk here. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then, but that’s just how it is in these older blocks. Neighbors in the building are mostly families or small offices like mine. We all kind of know each other’s faces from the hallway or the elevator. I don’t usually have a lot of people visiting, but the door is usually open if someone drops by. The M P Mills area has changed a lot over the years with more buildings coming up all the time. I just keep to my routine, starting early and finishing when the work is finally finished. It’s a quiet enough corner once you’re inside the room. No fancy furniture or big signs, just me and whatever I’m working on at the moment. It is a decent place to be.
