Shalini Print House

Shalini Print House is located in Building No. 20/B/14 at the Lallubhai Compound in Mankhurd. This place is always bustling. If you have not been to Lallubhai Compound, it is a huge set of buildings and there is constantly something happening in the lanes. Our print shop is a bit small, tucked away in one of the rooms in the building. We have our printing machines in there, and they make a lot of noise when they are running full tilt. The smell of ink is pretty much part of the furniture now. We do all sorts of jobs, from simple black and white copies to wedding cards and flyers. There are stacks of paper everywhere you look. It is not the most organized place, but we know exactly where everything is. People from the compound and nearby come in with their USB drives or old samples they want us to copy. We try to get things done as fast as we can, but sometimes the power goes or a machine gets jammed and everything slows down. That is just part of the daily life here. We do not have a fancy storefront, just a door that stays open most of the day. It gets quite warm inside with all the machines running, so we usually have a small table fan pointed right at us. It is a humble little shop, but it keeps us busy and serves the local folks well.
