Swastik Prints

We run our printing business out of Plot No. D7 in the Devidayal Apartments in Mulund West. It is a bit different than being in a big industrial park because we are in a more residential-commercial mix. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood while we work. We have our printing presses set up in the space, and they make a rhythmic thumping sound all day long. The smell of ink is pretty strong when you first walk in, but we do not even notice it anymore. We have stacks of paper and cardboard everywhere. It is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the room. People from around Mulund often drop by with small jobs or just to check on their orders. We do not have a fancy storefront. It is just us working at the machines and the cutting tables. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to pause everything, which is a bit of a headache. We have a small desk where we do the invoices, usually buried under some samples. The light in here is not the best, so we have a lot of extra lamps near the printers. We have been here for a good while, and most of the people in the building know us by now. It is a simple operation. We just take the files, set the machines, and watch the paper come out. It is steady work and it keeps us busy.
