Mak Prints

Starting the day at No. 36 Mohammad Ali Road usually involves a lot of noise. Mak Prints is right in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time around paper and ink, and you can usually smell it the moment you walk through the door. It is a busy street. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit. It’s just how things are here. We don’t have a big fancy office, just a place where the machines run most of the day. People come in with all sorts of requests, some small and some quite big. We try to keep up with the pace. The floor is usually covered in scrap bits of paper by noon. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for us and the people who drop by. We spend our hours checking layouts and making sure the colors look okay on the page. Some days are longer than others, especially when a machine acts up or there’s a rush. We just take it one job at a time. The area around Mohammad Ali Road is always moving, so we have to move with it. If you are looking for the shop, just look for the number 36. It isn't hard to find once you are on the main stretch. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
