Manav Gokhale

I've been here on Fernandez Street for a while now. Tilak Nagar is a busy place, and being at number 201 keeps me right in the middle of everything that happens around here. My workspace isn't anything fancy, just a simple spot where I get my daily tasks done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few months. People often stop by just because they are passing through the neighborhood. I don't really have a big sign or anything, but folks find me. It's mostly just me sitting here working through whatever is on my desk for that day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, I haven't had the time to worry about that. My neighbors are mostly shopkeepers and families who have lived in this part of Tilak Nagar for decades. We all know each other's faces by now. It feels okay to work in a place where things are a bit messy but real. I usually start my day early before the sun gets too hot and the traffic picks up. By the afternoon, the whole street is full of people. If someone needs to find me, they usually just ask at the corner shop. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for what I do. There’s no point in making things look more complicated than they actually are.
