Maksol Systems

Maksol Systems started out in this basement of the Triveni Building quite a few years ago. If you know Borivali East, you know how busy the 5th Main Road gets, especially being right opposite the post office. We spend most of our daylight hours down here. It is a bit of a climb down, and the ceiling isn't the highest, but it works for what we do. The post office across the street is a good landmark because people always get lost looking for these basement shops. We see the postmen coming and going all day. Inside, it's mostly just desks, spare parts, and the sound of fans running. We don't have fancy lights or a big glass front. It’s just a practical space. Some of the staff have been here since the beginning, and we’ve seen the Triveni Building go through plenty of repairs. The stairs are a bit worn down now, but I guess that's what happens after a while. Borivali is always changing, with new shops opening and closing, but we’ve managed to stick around in our little corner. Most of our day is spent handling whatever comes through the door. It gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We keep a small kettle for tea, and that’s about as much luxury as we have. It’s a quiet life down here, despite the noise of the traffic right above our heads.
