makrand deshmukh

This is Makrand Deshmukh. I stay and do my work out of 701 Kesar Apartment in Kandiwali West. Living in Mumbai means you are always in the middle of a crowd, but up on the seventh floor, it is a bit more peaceful. I’ve been in this building for some time. Kandiwali is a place that never really sleeps, so there is always something going on downstairs. I don't have a big company with hundreds of employees. It is just me, Makrand, doing what I know how to do. I use my home as my base because it saves on travel time and I can be close to my family. The apartment is where all the decisions happen. I don't have any shiny brochures or a big sales team. I think people prefer just talking to a real person anyway. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so I have to walk the stairs, which keeps me fit I guess. My desk is usually covered in notes and things I need to finish. I try to stay organized, but sometimes life gets a bit messy. I’ve lived in Mumbai for years and I wouldn't know what to do with myself in a quiet village. I like the noise of the city.
