You can find us at Unit No. 10 inside the Jai Mahavir Industrial Estate. We are tucked away behind Lathiya Rubber, right along the busy Andheri Kurla Road in the Sakinaka area. If you have ever been through Andheri East, you know the traffic can be a real struggle, but we have grown used to the constant noise and the hustle of the street. Our unit is not particularly large, but we make the most of the space we have. Workbenches line the walls and a lot of specialized equipment takes up the center of the room. It is a bit cramped sometimes, especially when we have a lot of materials delivered, but things work out. The walls have a few cracks and the paint is peeling in some spots, though that does not bother us much. We are more focused on the work on the benches anyway. Activity is constant in the estate, with people moving crates and trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes. We have been here for a while now and know most of the other folks working in the nearby units. It feels like a little world of its own once you get inside the gates. A small stove in the corner serves for making coffee and heating up our lunch. It is a simple, hardworking atmosphere without any of the corporate fluff you might find elsewhere in the city. Usually, the door stays propped open for some air to flow through while we work.
