Makhija Associates

We are over at Ganraj Society, specifically at 4 6 in the Garibacha Wada area. It’s a bit of an older part of the neighborhood, and that shows in the buildings around us. Makhija Associates has a simple setup here. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and the shopkeeper at the corner knows what you like to order. The office isn't anything you'd call modern, but it's functional. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. There’s usually a stack of newspapers near the entrance and a few umbrellas leaning against the wall during the monsoon. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most people who come to see us already know where we are or they’ve been told by someone else. The workday starts around nine, and we usually wrap up once the sun goes down. It’s a quiet existence for the most part. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or chat until it comes back on. That’s just part of life in this area. We focus on our work and try to stay on top of the things we need to get done. It’s an honest day's work in a very normal, local setting that hasn't changed much over the years we have been here.
