Makhdoom Embroidery

You can find us over in Sewri, specifically on the 2nd Bhoiwada Lane. We’re in Room Number 3 of the S S M 24 building, right near the Sewri Cross Road. It’s a small workshop where we do embroidery work. It’s not a big factory; it’s more of a local spot where you can hear the machines humming all day. The room is pretty packed with thread, fabric, and frames. We’ve been here for years, and most people in the lane know us. It’s a busy area with a lot of other small businesses and workshops around. The lighting in the room is bright so we can see the fine details of the stitching. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the thread, but we try to keep it tidy enough to work. We don’t have a website or any big advertisements. People usually just walk in with their fabric or find us through word of mouth from someone else in the city. It’s a simple life, just focusing on the patterns and making sure the needles are moving correctly. We have a small team of people who are really good with their hands. Most of us have been doing this for a long time. It’s a traditional way of working, right in the heart of Sewri. We don't try to be anything we're not; we just do the embroidery and get it done for whoever needs it.
