Our spot in Ganga Apartments is right in the middle of it all. Besant Street can be quite narrow and busy, so there is always the sound of rickshaws and people outside. Being on the first floor makes it easy to nip out for a quick tea or to grab something from the local shops. The office isn't very large, but we've made the most of the space we have. It’s a typical Mumbai apartment-turned-office where every square foot counts. We've got our filing cabinets lined up and our desks pushed together. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but it works for us. We are just a group of people who know how to get things done in a busy environment. We don't have a fancy lobby or a security guard at a desk; you just come to the door and we let you in. The air conditioning is almost always on to beat the humidity. It’s an honest, hard-working space where we don't worry about appearances much. We just focus on the consulting work that needs to be finished each day. That's the reality of working in this part of the city, and we are fine with it.
