Maharashtra Repairing Works

Maharashtra Repairing Works is tucked away in Kismat Nagar, right behind the Kurla Bus Depot on the CST Road in Kurla West. It is a very busy area because the bus depot is always full of people and noise. Our workshop is in a spot that stays busy from early morning until late at night. There is always the sound of engines and tools clanking around. The shop is filled with parts, grease, and tools scattered across various benches. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is a working shop where things actually get fixed. We spend most of our time with our hands dirty, trying to figure out why something isn't working. The location behind the bus depot means we see a lot of commuters rushing past every day. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a big industrial fan blowing. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; people just come to the front and shout for one of us. It is a very down-to-earth kind of place. We have been here for years and have seen the neighborhood change, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It is a hard-working environment where we just get on with the repairs. Sometimes the smell of diesel from the depot is quite strong, but you get used to it.
