You can find us on the 4th floor of Khetan Bhavan, right there on J Tata Road. It's a busy part of Churchgate, so there's always something going on outside. Maharashtra Hybrid Seeds Company Ltd. has been operating from this building for quite a while now. Between Veer Nariman Road and the station, it’s a bit of a walk but not too bad. We deal with all sorts of seed varieties. It’s a lot of organizing and making sure everything is labeled right. Our office is functional, with desks piled with files and samples. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to distributors. Dealing with agriculture means you’re always thinking about the next season. We have a few long-time employees who have seen the company grow over the years. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather isn't helping the farmers, but we do what we can from this end. We try to keep things straightforward and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. It’s a bit cramped in the office sometimes when everyone is in, but we make it work. We’re usually there from early morning until late evening, just getting through the day's tasks and making sure the seeds get where they need to go.
