Maharashtra Glass Mart

You can find us at Shop No. 2, on the ground floor of the Abbasi Building. We are located at 148 P.B. Marg, right near Daulat Talkies and next to the Up Express Bakery. It is a very busy street, and the smell of fresh bread from the bakery is always around. We have been selling glass here for a long time. Our shop is full of glass sheets of different thicknesses leaned up against the walls. You have to be careful where you walk because it's a tight space. We do a lot of cutting to size for windows, mirrors, and tabletops. We use simple hand tools for most of it. It’s a bit of a dusty job with all the glass shards and the cleaning sprays we use. Sometimes we have to carry big pieces of glass out to people’s cars, which is always a bit nerve-wracking with the traffic on P.B. Marg. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a functional shop where people come when they break a window or need a new mirror. We are usually busy with walk-in customers from the neighborhood. Most of our day is spent measuring and cutting. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the glass without it cracking. It’s a steady trade and we enjoy being part of this busy block. We just provide what's needed and keep the shop running.
