Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission

This office is located at 701 Kalpana Chs, which is a housing society in Tilak Nagar, Chembur. We are on Plot No 16, just behind Building Number 38. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s different from being in a big commercial block. We handle things for the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission from here. It’s mostly administrative work, dealing with the rules and stuff for the local power sector. Being in Chembur is nice because it’s a central spot for many of us to reach. The office itself is just a regular setup in a flat, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a corporate headquarters. We see people coming in to file papers or ask about electricity regulations. Tilak Nagar can be quite crowded, especially during festival times or on weekends, but we’ve managed to stay organized. We aren't here to sell anything, just to do the job of regulating how things work. There are a lot of buildings around us, so you really have to look for the plot number and building 38 to find us properly. We’ve been operating out of this Chembur address for a good bit now. It’s a practical space for the kind of work we do every day. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby, just some desks and chairs where we sit and go through the documents that come our way. It’s just us doing our part for the commission and making sure everything runs.
