Mahadev Bangles

Mahadev Bangles is in the busy area of Bhuleshwar. Our address is 6/32, Maya Bldg, on 3rd Bhoiwada Lane near Gadgil Street. We are part of the Renu Prakash Cooperative Housing Society. If you have ever been to Bhuleshwar, you know how tight and crowded the lanes are. There is barely enough room for two people to walk side by side sometimes. Our building is quite old and the shop is packed with bangles from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It is a small space, so it gets very cozy when customers are inside. We have been in this location for many years. 3rd Bhoiwada is famous for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other similar businesses. The noise from the street is constant with all the carts and people moving by. We sit on our small stools and help people find exactly what they are looking for. We do not use any fancy computers or modern systems. We just know our stock and we talk to our customers. The housing society is a mix of families and businesses, which gives it a very community feel. Sometimes when it rains heavily, the lanes get a bit flooded, but we just stay open and keep going. It is a traditional way of life here in the heart of Mumbai.
