Macleods Pharmaceutical Ltd has its place over in Tagore Nagar. If you know Vikhroli, you know it can get pretty crowded, but we are settled in at 329/4009. It’s a busy part of Mumbai to work in, but it keeps us on our toes. We deal with pharmaceuticals, so there is always a lot of coordination happening between the office and the people outside. The building isn’t anything too special to look at, just a practical space where we can sit down and do what needs doing. Some of the staff have been here for years and they know the area like the back of their hand. We don’t really go in for those big corporate speeches. We just show up, handle the orders, check the logs, and make sure things move along. Tagore Nagar has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over time. Being in Mumbai means there is always traffic and noise, but inside the office, we just try to stay organized. It’s a lot of data entry and talking to suppliers. We aren’t trying to change the world overnight; we are just making sure the medicine side of things runs like it should. It can be long hours sometimes, especially when there’s a big shipment, but that’s just how the job goes. We take our breaks, have our tea, and get back to the desk. There is always more to do, but we just take it step by step.
