Mac 8 Computer Services

Mac 8 Computer Services is located in Shop 9, Room 101 of the Sahjeevan S building in Chembur. It’s a small shop where we spend most of our time surrounded by cables, monitors, and half-opened computers. We’ve been here in Chembur for a good while. People from the neighborhood bring their laptops or desktops to us when things stop working. We don't have a fancy waiting area with magazines. It’s a workshop, so there are tools and parts everywhere. We just like fixing things. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at small circuits or trying to figure out why a machine won't turn on. We aren't part of any big chain. It’s just a local operation. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just clean up the shop, and other days everyone’s computer seems to break at once. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just tell them what’s wrong and how long it might take to fix. Most of our customers are just people who live in the Sahjeevan building or nearby. We’ve seen all kinds of computer problems over the years. It’s a lot of patience and trial and error sometimes. We just keep at it until the job is done. The shop is small, but it’s enough for what we do. We like being in this part of Chembur because it feels like home. You can usually find someone here working on a machine.
