Maa Kali Vastu Jyotish

We have been over at Vashi Pcntda 25 for a while now. Maa Kali Vastu Jyotish is where we deal with both the stars and the way houses are built. It is a bit of a mix. People come in with blueprints of their new homes or just their birth dates written on a scrap of paper. We sit down at the wooden table and go over everything. Vashi is a busy area, so there is always a lot of movement outside, but our office stays pretty focused. It’s not a large space. We have some shelves with books about Vastu and astrology, and a few pictures on the wall. The floor is tile and it’s easy to keep clean, though dust always finds a way in from the street. We spend a lot of time drawing diagrams and explaining how the direction of a door or a window might matter. Sometimes we get a bit sidetracked talking about the local cricket scores or how the prices at the market are going up. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We don't wear suits or anything like that. We are just regular people who have spent a lot of time studying these things. If you walk into Pcntda 25, you’ll find us there most afternoons, probably drinking some tea and looking over a map or a horoscope. It’s a job that keeps us connected to the people living around here.
