We are based in Kandivali West at 2 B 304 Paras Nagar on Shankar Lane. This is where we run the office for Ma Foi Managemet Consultants Ltd. Since we are located in a residential building, it has a very different feel than those big glass office towers downtown. It's a bit more personal, though space is always a concern for us. We have our desks crammed in, and there are always piles of resumes and folders that we are sorting through. Shankar Lane is a busy area, so there’s always a lot of noise coming from the street below. We get a lot of people coming by to ask about job openings or to talk about management stuff. The commute for most of us involves the local train, which is always an adventure in Mumbai. We try to keep the office tidy, but when things get busy, it’s hard to keep up with all the paperwork. We spend our days on the phone and replying to emails, helping companies find the right people. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important and it keeps us occupied. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the walls. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else in the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward operation here in Kandivali and we like the local vibe of the 400067 area.
