M V Sawant

Started at G 30 on Kika Street a good while back. It’s a busy spot, always noisy with people moving stuff and carts rattling on the pavement. The door sticks sometimes when it’s humid, but we’ve gotten used to it. M V Sawant is just the name on the front, really. Most days involve sitting at the old desk and dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s not a fancy setup. The walls could use some fresh paint, maybe a lighter color than this old grey, but it doesn't bother us much. We know the neighbors pretty well now. The tea stall guy around the corner brings over snacks when he isn't too busy. It’s just how things go here. Some people struggle to find the place because Kika Street is a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. We just tell them to look for the big blue gate. Inside, it’s mostly just files and the sound of the ceiling fan. It’s quiet enough to get work done, even with the traffic outside. Nothing special, just a place to work. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the step and wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to stretch our legs. We’ve been here so long that the routine feels like second nature. It’s just a regular workday at G 30, honestly.
