M S United Jewellery Mfg Pvt Ltd is based over in the Hansa Complex in Mumbai. Our specific spot is unit B 201. It’s right in the middle of a very busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement around us. Jewellery manufacturing takes a lot of patience and concentration, so we try to keep the inside of the shop as organized as we can. It’s not a huge place, and it’s often filled with the sounds of tools and people talking over their work. We’ve been in Maharashtra for a long time now, and we’ve seen the area change a lot. The office itself is pretty functional. We have our workbenches, some storage for the materials, and a small area for the paperwork. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are checking orders or looking at the accounts. It’s more of a hands-on type of business. The commute to Hansa Complex can be a real struggle with the Mumbai traffic, so we all tend to arrive a bit tired, but once the work starts, we get into the flow of it. We don't have any big mission statements or vision boards on the walls. We just focus on making sure the jewellery is made properly and that our clients are happy with what they get. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
