M P Chitale Company

Down in Dahiser East, near the electric substation on Sant Kabeer Marg, you’ll find us. We’re part of the Tri Murti Welfare Society in Kokani Pada. M P Chitale Company isn't a huge firm with a glass building. We work out of a modest space that feels more like part of the neighborhood. Being in Mumbai, it’s always crowded and there’s always noise from the street. We’ve got the 4000068 pin code area pretty much figured out after all these years. Our office is usually full of books and ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper when we can. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of people in suits running around. It’s just a few of us who have known each other a long time. We handle the tasks that come in, whether it’s checking accounts or helping someone with their paperwork. The walk to the office takes you past a lot of local shops, so we usually pick up some snacks on the way in. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Mumbai. We just want to do a decent job for the people who walk through our door. Sometimes the monsoon makes getting to work a challenge, but we always manage to open up. It’s just our daily life here in Kokani Pada. We keep the fans running to stay cool.
