Lucky Diesel Service

We spend most of our time at Shop No F in the Shram Wadala Shah Industrial Estate. It’s a busy spot with trucks constantly moving around the yard. Working on diesel engines is what we do every single day here. It gets greasy and loud, but that’s just the nature of this kind of job. Most people around this part of town know where we are on Plot No E-1. We’ve been at this specific location for quite a while now. Some days are much busier than others, and the shop gets crowded with parts and tools. We handle the fuel pumps and the injectors that customers bring in. It isn't a fancy place with a lobby or a cool waiting area. It’s just a workshop with tools and old metal parts scattered all over the benches. When a truck or a piece of heavy machinery stops running like it should, it usually ends up here for us to look at. We take things apart, find out what's broken, and then put them back together. The air in the industrial estate usually smells like oil and burnt metal. My hands are rarely clean by the time lunch rolls around, and the soap never quite gets all the black off. We just try to get the work finished so the engines can get back to working. There is always a pile of scrap in the corner. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find a specific leak. We aren't a big team, just a few of us.
