Longinus Fernandes

I am Longinus Fernandes and I run things from my place at Indradarshan 1 in Andheri West. Specifically, I’m in unit 402 on the 18th floor. Living and working in Mumbai means you get used to the noise and the pace of the city. Ajamal Road is where you’ll find the building. It’s a busy part of Andheri, but once you get up to the 402, it gets a little quieter. I’ve been here for a good while now. The office is just a part of the flat where I keep my files and the computer. It’s not one of those polished spaces you see in magazines. There are stacks of paper on the table and coffee mugs everywhere. Andheri West is a great spot because everything is close by, even if the traffic on Ajamal Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. I don't have a team of people in suits. It’s mostly just me handling the daily bits and pieces of the business. You get used to the hum of the city in the background. Sometimes the lift in Indradarshan takes forever, so I end up chatting with the neighbors. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of life here. I don't really go for the corporate talk or the fancy titles. I just do the work that comes my way and try to stay organized in my own way. It’s a practical setup for a practical life in Mumbai.
