We are tucked away on the third floor of the Sardar Griha building. It’s an old, historic place right near Crawford Market on Lokmanya Tilak Marg. The hallways are wide and the ceilings are high, but the building shows its age. Little Plastic has been in this spot for a long time. You can hear the shouting from the market downstairs all day long. We don't have a modern factory vibe at all. It’s more of a traditional setup where we manage our orders and keep a small inventory. Everything is a bit cramped because we have to haul everything up to the third floor. The elevator is temperamental, so we end up using the stairs more than we’d like. It’s hard work, but it keeps us fit. We deal with all sorts of small plastic items. There are boxes everywhere, and the desk is covered in ledgers. We still use paper for almost everything. It’s just easier for us to track that way. When customers visit, they usually complain about the climb, but we give them a glass of water and get down to business. It’s a busy, dusty, and loud part of the city, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office. The afternoon sun hits the windows hard, making the room bright while we pack up the day's shipments. We just keep moving until the market starts to quiet down in the evening.
