Literoot Technologies

Literoot Technologies is located in Samuel Chawl, which is part of the Mariam D Souza C area in Malad West. We are right opposite the Orlem Church, so we hear the bells and the general commotion of the church-goers all the time. It is an interesting spot for a tech business, being in a chawl, but it suits us just fine. The rooms are old and the hallways are narrow, but once you get inside the office, it is all about the computers and the code. It gets quite warm in the summer, and we have a couple of old fans that do their best to keep the air moving. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and find us working. Sometimes the neighbors are loud, or there is music playing from a nearby house, but we just put on our headphones and get to it. Living and working in Malad means you get used to the crowds and the tight spaces. We like being near Orlem because there is always something happening outside. Our desks are usually covered in wires and notebooks. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have everyone in at the same time, but we’ve grown used to the quirks of the building. It is just a plain, hardworking place where we get the technical stuff done day after day.
