We've been running things from Room No 11 here in Sankar Chawl for a while now. It's a busy spot in Mumbai, and you can always hear the city moving outside. Lifestyle Asia Pvt Ltd isn't some big fancy office with glass walls, it’s just us working out of this space in Maharashtra 400078. Most days are spent handling orders and talking to people on the phone. It gets a bit crowded sometimes because we have a lot of stuff tucked away in the corners, but we manage. People often ask how we find the place since these lanes can be a bit of a maze. You just have to look for the sign near the entrance. We started small and stayed that way because it works for us. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks when the afternoon heat gets to be too much. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where we do our work every day. We handle things as they come, sometimes it’s quiet and sometimes it’s a total mess of paperwork. The neighborhood knows us pretty well by now. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but Sankar Chawl stays pretty much the same. If you’re ever around this part of Mumbai, you’ll see it’s a lively place to be. We just keep our heads down and get the job done from our little room.
