Life Mantra

Finding us is a bit of a trip because the building is huge. We are tucked away in the Ijmima complex on the tenth floor, specifically in rooms 1009 and 1010. It’s right there in the imitation jewellery market section of Link Plaza. Malad West is always busy, and being behind Infinity Mall means there is constant traffic and noise. We have been in this spot for a while now, surrounded by other vendors and small shops. It gets pretty crowded in the hallways, especially when new stock arrives. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. Most days are spent sorting through pieces and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a lot of small items to keep track of, so things can get a bit messy on the counters. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just run our small operation from this floor and try to keep up with the daily tasks. The air conditioning sometimes struggles in the summer, but we just keep the fans going. It’s a practical workspace, not a gallery. You’ll usually find us sitting behind the main table with boxes piled up around us. We know the neighbors on our floor well, and everyone just minds their own business. It is a real working market atmosphere here, nothing like the polished malls outside. Just us and our work in Oshiwara.
