Lexis Institute

Lexis Institute is right in the heart of Dadar West on Senapati Bapat Marg. We are in the Samadhan Building, in the Pinges section. Being so close to the Dadar railway station means there is a constant stream of people and noise outside. You can hear the trains if you listen closely. Our place isn't anything fancy. It’s just a few rooms where we have our classes. The stairs are quite narrow and steep, so we always tell everyone to watch their step. We spend our time preparing for the day and making sure the whiteboards are clean. There’s no big corporate team behind us; it’s just us doing the work every day. We often stay late, especially when there are exams coming up and the students have extra questions. The walls have a few marks on them and the furniture is simple. During the monsoon, we have to deal with some dampness because it’s an old building. We just put out some mats and keep going. Most of the people in the area know us as the local tuition spot. We don’t have any polished mission statements or fancy goals. We just show up, teach the lessons, and go home. It’s an honest way to make a living in a busy city like Mumbai.
