You can find Lekhraj Agrawal & Sons over at 89 Avanti G Road. We are tucked away on the fifth floor, in unit 3. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't using the elevator, but we've gotten used to the height. The office is usually a bit cluttered with ledgers and samples, but we know where everything is. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so things are pretty relaxed around here. We don't wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. Most of the time, we’re just sitting around the big wooden table discussing what needs to be done next. The wind really picks up at this height, so we have to keep the windows shut sometimes so the papers don’t fly away. Being on Avanti G Road means we are right in the thick of things, even if we are high up. We see a lot of people coming and going from the other units in the building. Our day starts early and usually ends when the last of the emails are answered. It's nothing fancy, just a solid place to work. Sometimes the tea runs out and someone has to run down to the street level to get more. We’ve been here for years and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It feels like home after all this time. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. The furniture is old but it is comfortable enough for us.
