Lehman Brothers

We are located over at Badhwar Park in Colaba, which most people know is right in the thick of things in South Mumbai. Our office here at Lehman Brothers isn’t anything fancy, just a regular space where we get our daily work done. Usually, the mornings start with the sound of traffic and people heading to the nearby railway stations. We’ve been at this C 37 address for a while now. Most days are pretty much the same. We come in, check the paperwork, and deal with whatever comes up on the desk. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs, which keeps us moving I guess. There’s a tea stall just outside the gate where we usually go for a break when the afternoon slump hits. It’s a busy area, so there is always some noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just a small team of us sitting at our desks. Sometimes people drop by to hand over documents, and we have a quick chat before they head back out into the Mumbai heat. We just try to keep things organized and handle the local records. It’s a practical setup, nothing more than that. We just focus on getting through the pile of work and making sure the files are in order before we head home in the evening.
