Leges Consultus

Leges Consultus is over in Barakat Ali Nagar at the 4th Cross. We are in Suite 204 of the K N Extension building. It’s a pretty standard office block with a few different businesses sharing the same floors. To get to us, you have to go up a couple of flights of stairs, which can be a bit of a workout if you’re not used to it. The hallway usually smells a bit like incense or whatever someone is cooking for lunch. Our suite is a decent size, with enough room for our files and a couple of computers. We have a small table in the corner for meetings, but mostly we just work at our individual desks. The windows look out onto the street, and we can hear the bikes zooming past all day. Barakat Ali Nagar is a busy neighborhood with plenty of small shops and eateries nearby. Sometimes the internet acts up when it’s raining hard, but usually, it’s fine. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a stray pile of folders somewhere that needs attention. It’s a modest office but it’s ours. We’ve grown fond of the creaky door at the entrance to the suite. It’s the kind of place where people can just drop in and talk to us without feeling intimidated by a big lobby. We keep the lights on until late most nights just to stay caught up.
